Lipstick on the Mic is a popup concert program event created in 2011 to highlight rising and returning female musicians in a concert setting offering curated live performances to gain more exposure for music newcomers. The event has featured artists in the past such as- Marsha Ambrosius, Tweet, Andra Day, Leah Labelle, RaVaughn, Stacy Barthe and Elle Varner. Lipstick on the Mic (LOTM) profiles top female acts of the current year and previews new music for the forthcoming summer music craze. The program aims to highlight female musicians with a large digital following and offers fans an intimate performance in-person and online through partner media streams. The event attracts tons of A-List talent with a huge media footprint.
